Will my production actually increase, or does Notarius just organise existing work?

Both. Notarius immediately recovers the hours spent on manual DIRCO tracking, paper protocol registers, and appointment reminders — on average 5–7 hours per week for a solo notary handling 15+ matters. Those recovered hours can be reinvested into additional matters. Notaries on the Professional plan also gain access to corporate client referrals through the Notarius partner network, which generates incremental volume.

Do I keep 100% of my professional fees?

Yes, always. Notarius charges a SaaS subscription fee to you as the notary. We never take a percentage of your professional legal fee — that would constitute an anti-touting arrangement prohibited under LPC Code of Conduct Section 18.22. Our platform logistics coordination fee (if applicable) is charged separately to the client and disclosed transparently.

How does the DIRCO tracker work?

You add a matter when a document is notarised, then update its status as it moves through High Court authentication, DIRCO submission, apostille issuance, embassy submission, and final collection. You get a dashboard view of everything in flight.

What are the POPIA obligations?

Accepted Answer

Notarius captures POPIA consent at every client interaction. You remain the responsible party for your clients' personal information as the notary. We are an operator processing on your behalf, and our Data Processing Agreement is available on request.

Can I use Notarius on mobile?

Yes. The platform is fully responsive and works in any mobile browser. A native iOS and Android app is on the roadmap.
